Producer Howie Tee first achieved notoriety for his early production work on U.T.F.O.'s landmark single "Roxanne, Roxanne." Later he produced successful albums for his cousin Chubb Rock as well as rapper Special Ed. Showing his skill at combining rap beats with a pop/crossover sensibility, Howie Tee has also worked with platinum pop stars Color Me Badd, Maxi Priest, and Heavy D & the Boyz among others. ~ Steve Kurutz, All Music Guide
