Coming from St. Louis, Full System Purge seized the mission of searching for industrial style's most daring conceptions. Founding their compositions on a strong guitar section, Purge adjoined it with conceptual and disquieting lyrics. It was in 1994 that vocalist Eli, guitarist K1, and Akbar (guitar) decided to abandon the band they were playing with, and with the following additions of bassist K2 and drummer Urje, Purge managed to finalize its lineup. Their unmerciful and vigorous rock conceptions were even more dramatic live on stage, and soon they were roaming around the Midwest area showing off all of their musical potential. CUD, showed up as their debut album in 1997, shortly before the squad decided to change its name to Full System Purge. During the following years, the Missouri crew emerged on several compilation discs and played live concerts with acts such as P.O.D. or Gravity Kills. Enter Suffering, which hit the record stores in 2001, was the band's second album. ~ Mario Mesquita Borges, All Music Guide
