Biography

Formed in 2007, South London's FranKo are a four-piece who blend the hard rock of American acts like Daughtry and Shinedown with the pinup appeal of teen acts like Panic at the Disco and Tokio Hotel. Gigs around London and a tour of Thailand, plus an online video capturing a session at the famed Abbey Road Studios in early 2009, drew the attention of the teen press. Features in the likes of Sugar magazine followed, and soon the bandmembers announced that they were in the studio recording their debut album with producers Jim Lowe (Stereophonics) and Dario Dendi (the Killers, Franz Ferdinand). ~ David Jeffries, All Music Guide
