Biography

Hailing from the New York tri-state area, Fred Niznik (vocals/guitar), Mike Mason (bass), Steve Gregoire (guitar), and Peter Cetinich (drums) create the earnest alternative rock sounds of FN-Co. Niznik called up his musician friends while establishing a solo career in the early 2000s. While recording his 2004 debut album, The Renaissance LP, he and his backing band had become incredibly tight, thus forming Fred Niznik & Company (aka FN-Co.) in early 2005. Select shows at such famed New York venues as the Knitting Factory, Piano's, and CBGB's Gallery as well as an appearance at the Midwest Music Summit in Indianapolis followed into the new year; FN-Co.'s self-titled debut EP arrived in fall 2006. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, All Music Guide
