Biography

RSS
Fierce Ruling Diva is grounded in the rave tradition, but Jeroen Flamman and Jeff "Abraxas" Porter also incorporate elements of chill-out ambience. The two formed in Amsterdam and in August 1989 released their first single, "I Don't Wanna Be a Freak." After setting up Lower East Side Records and three nightclubs in the area, the duo began to produce, taking care of 13 records on various European labels. After nine singles, the album FRD appeared in June 1991, Anarchic Adjustments followed the next year. Revolt of the Perverse, their first domestic album, was released by Astralwerks in mid-1993. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
