Biography

DJ Felli Fel is a member of high-profile DJ crew the Heavy Hitters and a radio personality on Los Angeles radio station Power 106. He was born in Rock Hill, SC, and raised in Atlanta, launching his radio career at KNON, a community radio station in Dallas, TX. He then landed his first commercial gig on a Spanish radio station, KICK-FM. Around this time, hip-hop was in the early stage of its mixtape boom, so Felli Fel began putting out his own personal street mixtapes. His popularity grew, and soon K104, Dallas' overall top-rated radio station, offered him an on-air DJ position. After three years at K104, Felli Fel landed his job at Power 106. Since that time he has put out mixtapes (Live from Los Angeles Mix and Speak on It!!! Vol. 1) known on the streets as "Felli Fel Mixtapes." He has also produced music for artists ranging from Sean Kingston to Guerilla Black to Cassidy. Felli Fel also had a cameo in the film Malibu's Most Wanted, starring Jamie Kennedy. ~ Vincent Thomas, All Music Guide
