Biography

England's Deliverance was an obscure thrash metal band dealing mostly in satanic lyrics and, therefore, should not be confused with their L.A.-based, Christian metal namesakes. Formed sometime in the mid-'80s, the band was also known to experiment with gothic, Mercyful Fate-like black metal, as well as ancient doom à la the U.S.' Pentagram, but, perhaps most notably, featured three active lead singers in members Kris Krowe (bass/vocals), Sin (guitars/keyboards/vocals), and Master Daniels (drums/vocals). Still, they never rose above underground cult status and, after issuing three LPs in 1987's Devil's Meat, 1989's Evil Friendship, and 1990's Book of Lies, would vanish without a trace. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
