Obscure soul singer Debbie Taylor made her first recordings for Decca in 1968, and moved on to GWP the following year. Her most collectible output came via a 1972 stint on Today, a label run by producer/writer Patrick Adams. Her lone album, Comin' Down on You, featured the singles "Too Sad to Tell" and "No Deposit, No Return," neither of which brought her much commercial success despite the generally high quality of her performances. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
