With a repertoire that spans from the pop and show tunes of the 1940s and '50s to contemporary Top Forty, Debbie and the Debutantes are one of the top female cover bands in the American Midwest. Led by the single-named, former Cleveland Miss T.E.E.N, Debbie, the group features the harmonic vocalizing of the Debutantes: Mindy and Nichole. Together, the three women inspire comparisons with everyone from the Andrews and McGuire Sisters to the Supremes and Marvelettes.Raised in Westlake, OH, Debbie sang with her brothers and sisters at church functions at the age of three. Studying voice, acting, and dance as a youngster, she launched her career as a singer of radio and television jingles. Sharpening her skills with a variety of local jazz bands, she spent five years with the show band Rich Sulzer and the Spice of Life.
The group's primary choreographer, Mindy studied jazz and ballet as a youngster and earned a bachelor's degree in dance from Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, OH. ~ Craig Harris, All Music Guide
