Blending bluegrass, Southern rock and country into a refreshing and often progressive acoustic sound, the Davisson Brothers Band was formed by brothers Donnie Davisson (lead vocals and guitar) and Chris Davisson (lead and slide guitar) in Harrison County, WV. Along with their cousin, bassist Sammy Davisson, the brothers were playing gigs with their father and uncle's band before they were even out of junior high school. When childhood friend and drummer Aaron Regester joined up, the lineup for the Davisson Brothers Band was set. Fifteen years of steady touring helped them build a solid fan base in the Eastern U.S. Their debut album, the self-titled Davisson Brothers Band, was released in 2009 on Yell Records. ~ Steve Leggett, All Music Guide
