Lafayette, LA-based trio Da Entourage consists of cousins Toemas and Alley Cat and their childhood friend, Bunny B. The group soaked in the style of the Dirty South scene before releasing its debut, Entourage, Vol. 1, independently on locally based Red Boy Records in 2001. After selling large amounts of units on the underground club circuit, Entourage, Vol. 2 was met with even wider acclaim in 2002 and spawned the hit Bunny Hop. The group was picked up for wider distribution and release via Universal Music in 2003, including re-release of the second volume of Entourage. ~ Rob Theakston, All Music Guide
