Crystal Bernard is best known as an actress, particularly for her starring role on the sitcom Wings, but she also pursued a musical career as a songwriter. Several of her songs were recorded in the late '80s and '90s by adult contemporary artists like Paula Abdul, the Winans, Lisa Stansfield, and Tracie Spencer. After scoring an adult contemporary hit with "(I Wanna Take) Forever Tonight," a duet with Peter Cetera, she launched a recording career in 1996 with a country album, Girl Next Door. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
