Norteño/tejano group Costumbre were formed by Zapata High School graduate Manuel Edgar Luján and Mexican native José Zamora, Jr., making their debut with the release of a self-titled album on October 5, 1999. Costumbre returned in 2001 with Déjame Ser, featuring Billboard's Hot Latin Track "Y Ya Después." Additional albums included Se Repite la Historia (2003), Fantasia (2005), and Entrégame (2006); it would be three years until the release of their next album, Siempre (2009). ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
