Biography

Country group Cole Deggs & the Lonesome rose to fame in 2007 thanks to their dramatic love song "I Got More." A native of Lake Jackson, TX, Cole Deggs entered the music business as a songwriter when his song "Live Those Songs" landed on Kenny Chesney's 2002 release No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems. With his brother Shade on bass, Florida native Brian Hayes on drums, and another set of brothers from Shreveport, LA -- guitarist David and keyboardist Jimmy Wallace -- Cole formed the Lonesome and signed with the Columbia Nashville label in 2006. Their self-titled debut landed a year later. ~ David Jeffries, All Music Guide
