Traveling within ravishing tunes of the punk style hardened by straight to the edge lyrics, enraptured by the voice of Miz Kitty, one of the teams' vocalists, Betty Already also ventured in plain pop-style inflections. Assembled in Portland in 1998, Betty Already became one of the topmost intense bands of the local music scene due to their combusting live performances. Formed by vocalist and guitarist Scott Young, charming vocalist Miz Kitty, drummer Postman, Murphy (guitar), and by Icky Boom (bass), the crew strongly relied on Young's lyrical talents, who signed most of the bands' songs. Touring around Portland's clubs, Betty slowly started gaining an always-rising popularity. After more than a year, during which they signed several breathtaking live concerts, the team entered the studio to record their first full-length. It was in 2000 that Amerimaniacs, their debut and self-released album, hit the record stores. The Portland-based squad then continued on to support their music conceptions on numberless live shows. ~ Mario Mesquita Borges, All Music Guide
