Biography

Natives of South Central L.A., the hip-hop soul trio Before Dark included vocalists/dancers Mia, Jeni, and Arike; their singles "Baby" and "Come Correct" were released in 1999, landing the group on Soul Train. The singles appeared well in advance of their debut album, Daydreamin', which after much delay was finally issued in the summer of 2000. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
