Biography

RSS
Born in Memphis, where he grew up absorbing the gospel-tinged country-soul styles of singers like Al Green and Otis Redding and the Memphis rock & roll approach and attitude of Elvis Presley, Nashville-based actor, model, singer, songwriter, guitarist, and keyboardist Beau Davidson was actually classically trained, beginning piano at the age of five. He attended the School of Music at Northwestern University in Chicago, graduating with a degree in vocal performance and political science. He then moved to L.A., where he found work as a model and as an actor on TV shows like Days of Our Lives and Gilmore Girls. Davidson had begun writing his own songs while in college, and he recorded a handful of them for his self-released EP, Good Hurt, which he issued independently in 2007. ~ Steve Leggett, All Music Guide
