Vocalist/keyboardist Pearly Sweets (born Abraham Levitan), drummer Peter Andreadis, and bassist Jim Cooper comprise the theatrically wry Baby Teeth. Hailing from Chicago, the indie rock trio formed in 2003 under an assortment of influences: Elton John, Hall & Oates, prog rock, and D.C. punk. The Baby Teeth Album marked their album debut for Lujo in summer 2005. The For the Heathers EP followed a year later. Baby Teeth also performed at the annual South by Southwest conference later that March, playing alongside Andy Dick & the Bitches of the Century, Awesome Cool Dudes, and Cooper's other band, the Detholz. When Sweets isn't moonlighting in Baby Teeth, he can be found playing keyboards for Bobby Conn & the Glass Gypsies. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, All Music Guide
