Biography

Chicago-based Arranmore breaks new musical ground by combining the best of Celtic, folk, country and contemporary genres to form its own unique sound. Beautiful harmonies and outstanding musicianship drive such songs as the cult classic "South Side Irish," the haunting original historical "Illinois & Michigan Canal," the traditional Irish "Fields of Athenry" and the country-steeped "Americana." Whether its whimsy or history, a rouser or a thought-provoking ballad, few do them better than Arranmore.
