Mexican singer/songwriter Alejandro Filio started getting involved in the local movement known as Nueva Trova Mexicana by the end of the 1970s, self-producing his first albums Filio, En Esta Inmensidad, and Caín. To make his acclaimed Un Secreto a Voces, the artist moved to Spain, Cuba, and Argentina, recording along with prominent artists such as Silvio Rodríguez and Víctor Manuel. In addition, his compositions have been recorded by popular Latin singers Ricardo Montaner and Manuel Mijares, among others. On February 22, 1998, his live performance at Chihuahua's Teatro de Cámara was released under the name of ...Un Secreto En Vivo. ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
