A'tris are a Boston-based alternative rock band with ties to the Berklee College of Music, where the band was founded in 2003 by then-students Mason Taylor (vocals, piano) and Michael Kreher (programming, production). The band made its recording debut in 2005 with the full-length album Appeal, followed by the six-track EP Of the Commons (2007) and the full-length follow-up Lensing (2008). Centered on frontman Mason Taylor, the band's lineup has changed frequently over the years; Lensing featured Ben Azar (guitar), Chuck Sokol (guitar, bass, vocals, programming), Pete Koopmans (drums), Claire L. Finley (bass), and Takuma Anzai (drums) in addition to Taylor and Kreher. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
