Young Bloods formed as a solo project for frontman Joey Arena, who began writing the band’s fiery, guitar-driven emo pop anthems during the summer of 2008. What began as a one-man band quickly grew into a full group, and the newly expanded Young Bloods -- now featuring Arena, lead guitarist Chris Klumpp, secondary guitarist Jake Butler, and drummer Rob Bodley -- began building an audience in their hometown of Rochester, New York before reaching a national audience with their 2010 debut album, Blueprint to a Fire. The Rebirth EP followed one year later. ~ Andrew Leahey, Rovi
