Wesley Klein, generally known as simply Wesley, is a Dutch pop singer who rose to fame on the television show Popstars prior to making his recording debut with the chart-topping hit single "You Raise Me Up" in 2010. Born on March 25, 1988, in Leiderdorp, The Netherlands, he was the winner of the second season of Popstars, which ran from 2009 to 2010. In the wake of his first-place finish on Popstars, Klein topped the Dutch singles chart with his debut commercial offering, "You Raise Me Up." In contrast to his debut single, his second single, the Top Five hit "Een Ongelofelijke Droom," was sung in Dutch, as were the Top 20 follow-up hits "Levenslang" and "Een Mooie Dag." In the midst of this run of hit singles, Klein made his full-length debut with Vandaag en Morgen (2010), a Top Five hit on the Dutch albums chart. ~ Jason Birchmeier, Rovi
