Pop vocalist Emii makes dance-oriented, R&B-influenced club music. Born Emily Rose Morrison in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1990, Emii grew up in Youngstown, Ohio where she gained early performance experience doing community theater. After high school, Emii moved to New York City where she pursued a music career. Collaborating with different producers, she began recording her material and eventually caught the attention of Australian-based booking agency Slippery Eel Productions. She then relocated to Los Angeles and soon began booking shows around the world. In 2010, she released her debut EP Magic, followed in 2011 by the EP Mr. Romeo, which featured rapper Snoop Dogg.
