Singer/songwriter Blake Hazard spent most of the '90s playing with Jason Hatfield (Juliana's brother) in the indie rock band Starhustler. When she grew tired of being in a band, she set out on her own and played shows alongside Helium's Mike Leahy, Shawn King Devlin, and Brian Dunton. Upon earning a degree from Harvard, she befriended Jack Drag's John Dragonetti. She went on to tour with Jack Drag while striking up a working relationship and friendship with Dragonetti. Hazard began switching up her signature indie pop bliss with a raw mood and vision. Dragonetti also assisted Hazard in recording her debut album, Little Airplane, which appeared on Kimchee in July 2002. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, Rovi
