Diana Ross told a Tucson, Ariz., municipal court judge that she felt forced into taking a breath test during a traffic stop last year. The 58-year-old pop diva and her lawyer, Stephen Paul Barnard, are seeking to have the results of several breath tests tossed out. They appeared in court yesterday (June 23) to argue their case.
Evanescence, Cold and Revis will strike out together on the upcoming Nintendo Fusion Tour. The trek, which will also feature Cauterize and Finger Eleven, will boast live music as well as a host of Nintendo games.
Five more shows have been added to Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band's summer U.S. stadium tour. Included on the list is what will be the first rock concert ever held at Boston's Fenway Park (home of the Major League Baseball team the Boston Red Sox). Also new are stops in Chicago, Detroit, Buffalo and Chapel Hill, N.C., with a few more expected.
Berkfest 2003, slated for Aug. 15-17 at Ski Butternut in Great Barrington, Mass., will feature an eclectic bill that will include inventive modern rock act the Flaming Lips, hip-hop heroes the Roots and jazz/funk jam band Medeski, Martin & Wood, among others.
