Hoobastank's sophomore Island album, "The Reason," will arrive Dec. 9, a week later than originally anticipated. First single "Out of Control" is No. 17 this week on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart and No. 24 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks tally.
Randy Travis, Dennis Agajanian, Dottie Rambo and perennial favorites the Fox Brothers led the list of winners at the ninth annual Christian Country Music Association Awards last night (Nov. 6) at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. Travis' hit "Three Wooden Crosses" was named song of the year, and the artist was honored with the award for mainstream artist of the year.
Justin Timberlake was the big winner last night at the 10th annual MTV Europe Music Awards in Edinburgh, Scotland, triumphing in three categories. The 'N Sync singer won for best male, best pop and best album for his debut Jive solo effort, "Justified." Heading into the gala, Timberlake had a leading five nominations.
The track list for Korn's next album, "Take a Look in the Mirror," has been unveiled. The 13-track set, due Nov. 25 via Epic, opens with the single "Right Now," which is No. 23 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. Other tracks include "Play Me" featuring rapper Nas, "Did My Time" (which appeared in "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life") and the seven-minute closer "When Will This End."
