Jay-Z will headline a benefit concert this fall in New York. The Nov. 25 multi-artist event at Madison Square Garden will benefit the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN) and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund. Details of the show will be announced Wednesday (Sept. 24). The day after the show will see the release of what Jay-Z claims will be his final Roc-a-Fella set, "The Black Album."
Australian country music icon Slim Dusty died today (Sept. 19) in Sydney at the age of 76, after a two-year battle with cancer. His signature tune, 1957's "The Pub With No Beer," was a top-10 hit in the U.K. and was the first gold record in Australia.
