Action Bronson Cruises to No. 2 on Trending Chart With 'Easy Rider'

Queens native Action Bronson stormed the real-time Billboard Trending 140 chart Monday morning (Aug. 4) with his just-released track "Easy Rider." The song was premiered on WQHT New York (Hot 97) the night before by DJ Peter Rosenberg, and the conversation that ensued on Twitter sent the track onto the real-time tally.

The song was produced by Party Supplies (who produced Bronson's mix tapes Blue Chips and Blue Chips 2) and is set to be featured on his upcoming major label debut album, Mr. Wonderful (Vice/Atlantic Records). Listen to "Easy Rider" here.

Sunday's debut of "Easy Rider" follows a surprise feature appearance on Mr. Flash's (aka French producer Gilles Bousquet) track "Number One," alongside Cities Aviv and Oh No. Mr. Flash's previous credits include Mos Def, Kanye West, and Sebastien Tellier.

Back in June 2013, Bronson peaked at No. 63 on the Billboard 200 with his debut EP SAAB STORIES, which was produced by Harry Fraud.

In addition to Bronson's music-related activities, the rapper also has a show on Munchies, VICE's food channel,for a culinary Web series titled "Fuck, That's Delicious." The series debuted in May.
