Norah Jones, Heart, Loretta Lynn, Gossip and Cat Power are among the top female artists who have just been added to the lineup for Lilith Fair 2010, organizers announced today (Jan. 21). The revived touring music festival also added 15 more cities -- including Detroit, Nashville, Phoenix, San Diego, Houston -- to its originally announced stops in New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto and Chicago.

"I'm happy they wanted me on this Lilith tour," country legend Lynn said in a statement. "I have never done shows just with other girl singers before. When I first started out, they said girl singers couldn't sell records or concert tickets. We've come a long way since then and we're gonna have a big time out there!"

Other acts new to the Lilith Fair 2010 bill include La Roux, Sia, Beth Orton, Ceci Bastida, Erin McCarley, Frazey Ford, Julia Othmer, Kate Nash, Lights, Missy Higgins and Priscilla Renae. More artists and dates for each city will be announced in the coming weeks.

As previously reported, Lilith Fair is returning this summer after an 11-year hiatus. During its original run from 1997-1999, the festival drew top names like Sheryl Crow, Christina Aguilera, Erykah Badu, the Dixie Chicks, Indigo Girls and Sarah McLachlan to its stage.

"We are thrilled that Lilith 2010 is in our future," said Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart. "To be a part of all that depth and power will be beyond exciting! This is stunning intent for women of the new decade."
