Hot Tours: Brad Paisley, Justin Bieber, Yusuf

Country music superstar Brad Paisley tops the Hot Tours chart with his headlining performance at the 7th annual New England Country Music Festival at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. He is the third country star to headline the multi-act festival event held during the summer months at the NFL football stadium. Toby Keith was the first headliner at the inaugural concert in July 2004, followed by Kenny Chesney in 2005, who remains the top draw among all artists since the festival's launch. This year's concert on Aug. 21 also featured Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker, Sara Evans and Easton Corbin on the bill. The show was a sellout with 51,107 country music fans in attendance and grossed more than $3.4 million. It is the top gross ever reported to Billboard Boxscore with Paisley as headliner, and also his best-ever attendance total. Historically, Chesney holds the gross and attendance records for the festival, pulling in $5.2 million at the July 2008 event with 57,890 spectators at the August 2009 concert.

Canadian-born pop star Justin Bieber lands in the No. 2 position on Hot Tours with box office totals reported from four sold out dates on his My World Tour. Arenas in the Nashville, Indianapolis, Columbus and Detroit markets produced a combined gross of $2.6 million. The singer's August 15 performance at the Palace of Auburn Hills drew the largest crowd among the four venues reported this week (15,667), the second-best stop so far on the tour. Bieber's largest attended show was his June 27 appearance at Milwaukee Summerfest with 21,772 fans at the city's 24,000-seat Marcus Amphitheatre.
