Fantasia Sets First Headlining Tour

12. Fantasia"I Believe"Chart Debut Date: July 10, 2004

After a tumultous summer, "American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino has announced plans to spend this fall on the road with her first headlining tour. The 30-city trek supporting third album "Back To Me" will kick off on Nov. 4 in Richmond, Va. and will conclude on Jan. 1 in St. Louis.

"This tour is going to be a real special, intimate experience for them and for me," says Barrino. Eric Benet and Kandi have been tapped as special guests for the tour.

The announcement arrives after "Back To Me" debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 last month, following a sex tape scandal and suicide attempt that left the 26-year-old hospitalized.
