Country star Miranda Lambert tops the current slate of Hot Tours with more than $2.5 million in ticket sales reported from eight performances on her 2012 headlining tour. The ACM and CMA's reigning Female Vocalist of the Year kicked off her On Fire Tour with a sellout crowd of 6,722 at the BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford, Ill. on Jan. 12. With Chris Young and Jerrod Niemann providing support, Lambert followed the tour opener with concerts at arenas in Fargo, Charlotte and Baltimore where she garnered her top box office gross on Jan. 26. With 7,912 fans in the house at the 1st Mariner Arena, the concert was a sellout with $368,646 in ticket sales revenue. The top attendance among these eight performances came the following evening at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Va. The sold out concert on Jan. 27 drew a crowd of 8,410 with ticket sales topping $333K. The next performance was in East Rutherford, N.J. followed by shows in Huntsville, Ala. and Orlando.

Jimmy Buffett lands in the second slot on this week's Hot Tours tally with $2.4 million in box office grosses reported from two arenas in Florida. The concerts at Jacksonville's Veterans Memorial Arena (Jan. 31) and Amway Center in Orlando (Feb. 4) were part of the legendary entertainer's Welcome to Fin Land Tour that launched in the spring of 2011 and played U.S. markets through late October. The tour is continuing during the first quarter of 2012 with dates booked through the end of March. The Jacksonville performance was sold out with 11,723 Parrotheads in attendance, generating $1.2 million in ticket sales. The Orlando arena drew a crowd of 13,387 with sold tickets also topping the $1.2 million mark.

Tool kicked off a string of 2012 winter tour dates in Reno, Nev. on Jan. 14 at the Reno Event Center with a sellout crowd of 6,264 in attendance. With three more performances reported during the past week totaling $2.2 million in sales, the Grammy-winning band takes the No. 3 ranking on this week's Hot Tours list. Performances at John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario (Jan. 26), Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. (Jan. 31) and Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J. (Feb. 1) were all sold out.
