The Jezabels and French Horn Rebellion to Help Close Out Festival Weekend
Billboard will rock Chicago on Sunday, Aug. 5 with a little help from critical darlings Of Monsters and Men and The Jezabels. The groups will help close out Lollapalooza weekend when they perform at the Billboard Post Party, presented by Starbucks Refreshers™ beverages, held at the Double Door.
The groups will bring global sounds to the Windy City: Of Monsters and Men, riding high with their hit single "Little Talks" at No. 2 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart, are Iceland-based, while the Jezabels hail from Sydney. The Aussie band's 2011 debut "Prisoners" peaked at No. 2 on the ARIA charts, with the set scoring the group the 2011 Australian Music Prize.
The night will also feature a special DJ set by Brooklyn duo French Horn Rebellion.
Jonathan Brooks, host of Billboard.com's new daily music news video show The Beat, will emcee the evening, which kicks off with doors at 10 p.m. The 21-and-over show is free. RSVP at billboardpostparty.eventbrite.com.
