Rock legend Bruce Springsteen is No. 1 on the most recent tally of Hot Tours with $39.5 million in ticket sales totals reported from the European leg of his Wrecking Ball World Tour with the E Street Band. This week's chart includes 11 performances from eight venues, beginning with a two-show stint at the Bercy arena in Paris on July 4 and 5 with 33,224 tickets sold for both nights. Concerts followed in Zürich, Prague and Vienna before his headlining appearance on the main stage of the Hard Rock Calling festival at Hyde Park in London. More than 76,000 fans were in attendance to hear the Boss on July 14, the second day of the festival that ran July 13-15. Three days later he played the first of two shows in Ireland at the RDS Arena in Dublin with a crowd of 38,000 on each night. The combined revenue total of €6.3 million ($7.6 million US$) was the top gross among the totals reported from the eight venues in this week's recap. Three concerts in Norway followed the Dublin engagement on the tour's itinerary - a single show in Oslo on July 21 and a two-show run in Bergen on July 23 and 24.

Country headliners take the No. 2 and 3 slots on Hot Tours with concert totals reported for Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw's stadium tour and Jason Aldean's summer trek through North American markets. Chesney and McGraw take the second place ranking with $7 million in box office revenue from concerts at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on July 28 and Cleveland Browns Stadium the following evening. Aldean, No. 3 this week, kicked off the summer leg of his 2012 tour on July 12 in Toronto at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre with a sellout crowd of 15,827. Eight dates in July were reported during the past week with gross totals topping $5.9 million from 148,231 sold seats. Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, N.J. drew the largest crowd among these eight outdoor venues. 24,318 tickets were purchased for the Georgia native's July 28 performance at the 25,000-seat shed located in the Philadelphia market.

John Mellencamp lands at No. 4 with $4.8 million in ticket sales totals reported from his No Better Than This Tour that played Canadian venues during June and July. The tour launched in British Columbia on June 14 at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton and made a cross-country trek across Canada, wrapping on July 15 in Ontario at Oshawa's General Motors Centre. From a total of 17 performances, overall attendance for the summer tour was 61,475.
