Bon Iver Announces U.S. Summer Tour Dates

Bon Iver to Appear in 2012 Fitness DVD

Indie-folk outfit Bon Iver will celebrate the release of forthcoming sophomore album "Bon Iver, Bon Iver" with a 16-date U.S. summer tour. The Rosebuds will offer support on the trek, which kicks off July 22 in Milwaukee, Wis.

Bon Iver, which is led by singer-songwriter Justin Vernon, received critical acclaim for its 2008 debut "For Emma, Forever Ago," which Vernon largely recorded alone in a cabin in northern Wisconsin. For the tour behind "Bon Iver, Bon Iver" which is due out June 21 on Jagjaguwar, Vernon will perform with an eight-piece band that includes regular Bon Iver contributors Sean Carey, Mike Noyce and Matt McCaughan, as well as Rob Moose on guitar and violin, Mike Lewis on bass, and a three-piece horn section.

The last time Vernon was seen performing, it was alongside Kanye West during the rapper's headlining Coachella set last month. Vernon also performed with the National at the festival.
