Urban bachata group Aventura today (Aug. 25) announced the first leg of a U.S. arena tour in support of its chart-topping album "The Last." The trek kicks off Nov. 20 in Chicago, Ill. and closes out at New York's Madison Square Garden on Jan. 20.
Since its release in June, Aventura's "The Last" has sold 145,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan, and dominated Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart. The album has reigned at No. 1 on the chart for 10 consecutive weeks, the first time an album has done so since Daddy Yankee's "Barrio Fino" in 2006.
Tickets for Aventura's tour, produced by Bill Young Productions, go on sale Sept. 17.
