Modern rock act Incubus and its label, Sony Music Entertainment, have reached a settlement in a series of lawsuits over the band's contract. In a statement, the parties said only that they "have amicably resolved their differences, and will continue with their highly successful relationship."
Radiohead, the Strokes, Travis, Puddle Of Mudd, Blur, Blink 182, and New Found Glory are scheduled to play Japan's Summer Sonic Festival, to be held Aug. 2-3 in Tokyo and Osaka. Other bands on the bill include Cheap Trick, Blondie, the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, the Doors, Placebo, the Datsuns, and Starsailor.
Rock-rap act 311 has slated a July 11 for its seventh studio album, "Evolver." The group reteamed with producer Ron Saint Germain (Bad Brains, Sonic Youth) for the Volcano Records set. He last worked with the band on its self-titled third album, released in 1995 via Capricorn Records
