Next Queens Tour To Roll Without Grohl

The next round of Queens Of The Stone Age tour dates will not feature Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl on drums, Queens bassist Nick Oliveri tells Billboard.com. Pearl Jam has penciled in a Nov. 19 release date for its seventh, as-yet-untitled Epic studio album. As previously reported, the set was produced by the band with Adam Kasper and mixed by longtime collaborator Brendan O'Brien. No song titles have yet been unveiled, but based on a letter in the latest fan club newsletter from frontman Eddie Vedder, at least some of the material seems to have been influenced by the events of Sept. 11.
