Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoit Dunckel, better known as the French electronica duo Air, will embark on a month-long tour of the U.S., set to begin June 14 in Dallas. The trek comes in support of the group's new album, "10,000 Hz. Legend," due on May 29 via Astralwerks.
Singer/songwriter Ani DiFranco has tacked on a host of U.S. tour dates to her current itinerary, which hits Indianapolis tonight (April 10). The trek, which comes in support of the brand-new two-disc "Reckoning/Revelling" (Righteous Babe), is set to run through a July 16 date in Seattle. Along the way, she'll perform April 30 at the Women Who Rock benefit in New York, alongside comedian Margaret Cho and folk artist Holly Near.

Singer/songwriter Joseph Arthur is hard at work on his third album for Peter Gabriel's Virgin-distributed Real World label. Speaking backstage after an opening slot for Coldplay last night (April 9) in New York, Arthur told Billboard.com he has mixed 12 songs in collaboration with Roger Moutenot (Yo La Tengo, Lou Reed). The new, as-yet-untitled album is tentatively scheduled for a fall release.C
The jury in TVT Records' copyright-infringement case against MP3.com apparently miscalculated the amount of damages the Web company owes the indie label, Billboard Bulletin reports. As reported yesterday (April 9), the jury on Friday ordered MP3.com to pa y TVT about $290,000 in damages; it is believed the order was meant to be $3 million.3
