Batman or Superman? Artists Pick Their Superhero Sides
In the spirit of the highly anticipated blockbuster Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, in theaters Friday (March 25), Billboard asked music stars from Wale to K. Michelle to pick a side. Our apologies in advance, Mr. Kent.
“Batman’s more handy and resourceful. He doesn’t even have any superpowers, he just has money and can fight. I respect that.”
Fifth Harmony's Dinah Jane:
“I’ve always been a Superman girl. I love his style -- he can wear a suit and tie, rip it off and there’s this alter ego.”
"I’m definitely choosing Batman. He wears all black, he has the fly car, he has the butler, he has the gadgets."
Mumford & Sons’ Ted Dwane:
“Batman has a sick car -- but Superman could take the car and throw it into space.”
Vampire Weekend's Chris Baio:
"Superman if my life was in danger -- he can fly and is strong and stuff. But I'd definitely rather party with Batman. I'm under the impression Bruce Wayne can get into any club in Gotham.”
The Strumbellas' Dave Ritter:
"Batman all the way. Dude is a detective AND a scientist. The brain is the strongest muscle in the body, and he isn't scared of any weird green rocks.”
Coheed and Cambria’s Claudio Sanchez:
"This is all contingent on whether or not Batman is in possession of Kryptonite. No Kryptonite? Superman. Kryptonite? Batman. But Batman is the world's greatest detective -- that fool will figure something out."
