Daryl Hall and John Oates of Hall & Oates perform at Latitude Festival 2014 at Henham Park Estate on July 19, 2014 in Southwold, United Kingdom.

Philly's own Hall & Oates leads the inaugural lineup for Live Nation's Philadelphia Fillmore, set to open later this year in the Fishtown neighborhood's historic Ajax Metal Company building. The "Private Eyes" duo play the 2500-capacity Fillmore on Oct. 1.

"We're excited and feel fortunate to kick things off with two of the all-time great musical artists," said Ben Weeden, chief operating officer of Live Nation's theater & clubs division. "Philadelphia is a city with a proud musical heritage and this is the perfect way to get started."

Other scheduled acts through the end of the year include alt-country singer Brandi Carlile, indi-pop band Misterwives and veteran country combo Eli Young Band

A second club, the 450-capacity Foundry, will be located on the top floor of The Fillmore and will feature singer-songwriters, local acts, DJs and smaller touring bands, according to Live Nation.

The venue's opening will mark the seventh Fillmore in operation in the U.S. Tickets go on sale June 4.
