Two season 15 finalists from American Idol shared the stage Thursday night at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, Calif., as Olivia Rox headlined a show in her hometown and invited runner-up La'Porsha Renae to duet with her for a sensitive rendition of A Great Big World's "Say Something." This was the first major gig for 17-year-old Rox since her elimination on Idol. La'Porsha confirmed to Billboard that it was her first time onstage performing live since the Idol finale on April 7.

Rox encored some of her Idol performances for the crowd, including Demi Lovato's "Confident" and Katy Perry's "Unconditionally." The teenager also sang six of her original songs, including potential singles "It Girl" and "Outcast."

La'Porsha wasn't the only special guest. Rox invited her father, acclaimed saxophone player Warren Hill, to the stage for a duet of Foreigner's "I Want to Know What Love Is." After the show, Hill told Billboard that he recently brought his daughter to the Canyon to see Lou Gramm, so she could experience the lead singer of Foreigner performing that hit live.

Following an encore that saw Rox wailing on Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog," a long line formed on the right side of the venue as fans queued up for autographs and photos with Rox at the merch table. The line moved slowly as Rox took a generous amount of time with each person who was waiting patiently to meet the recent Idol alum.
