Loco Dice Premieres Robert Hood Remix of 'Get Comfy' Feat. Giggs: Exclusive
Loco Dice returned last year with Underground Sound Suicide, his first full-length since his 2008 debut 7 Dunham Place. In an exclusive premiere with Billboard Dance, he now shares a Robert Hood remix of the album's lead single "Get Comfy," featuring UK rapper Giggs.
Robert Hood brings out a darker side of "Get Comfy," flushing out the club track to seven minutes of looped vocals and glitchy effects over continuous beats.
"Robert is one of the founders of minimal techno, and the artist whose records I’ve been buying since my early techno and house days," Loco Dice tells Billboard. "It’s such an honor for me to have Robert Hood remixing one of my tracks.”
Along with the EP, Loco Dice's label Desolat will release an Underground Sound Suicide limited edition box set on 4 x 12' vinyl of new remixes from Kerri Chandler, Kenny Dope and Henrik Schwarz, among others. The digital version of the album, including all mixes and bonus tracks, will be released on a diamond shaped metal USB drive.
The remix EP will be out Friday (April 15) and listen to the "Get Comfy" Robert Hood remix below.
