CounterPoint Music Festival 2016 Canceled
The 2016 CounterPoint Music Festival has been canceled.
The reason for the cancellation -- which was announced in a post on the festival's Facebook page -- was not specified, but the statement said organuzers are "working on several options concerning the festival's return."
The three-day Georgia music and arts festival was founded in 2012, and was located right outside Atlanta in Kingston Downs. Last year's roster hosted big names from dance, including Zedd, Kygo, Dillon Francis and Chet Faker, and the 2014 lineup featured reunited headliners Outkast.
This is the second blow to dance festivals for fans, following the cancellation earlier this month of fellow Georgia festival TomorrowWorld due to its "current environment."
