Sam Smith, Lady Gaga, Chris Rock & More React to 2016 Oscar Nominations

The 2016 Oscar nominations are in and already ruffling some feathers on Twitter for the list's lack of diversity. With a predominantly white list of nominees, notable snubs included the blockbuster N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton -- which only earned the Best Original Screenplay nod for the film's white writers Jonathan Herman and Andrea Berloff -- while Wiz Khalifa's monster hit "See You Again" featuring Charlie Puth from Fast 7 went M.I.A. Even The Roots legend Questlove was baffled. 

There was still much cause for celebration as nominees like Lady Gaga and Sam Smith rejoiced on their timelines. See the celebrity reactions to this year's Oscar nods below.
