Justin Bieber will make his silver screen debut just in time for next Valentine's Day. According to Deadline.com, Paramount Pictures has confirmed the release of a 3D biopic about the pop singer's life that will come out February 11, 2011.
While the film does not yet have a title, it will reportedly include footage of his current tour, and Bieber will play himself in the film. Davis Guggenheim, who won an Oscar for helming "An Inconvenient Truth," is in negotiations to direct.
Bieber called the newly greenlit project "incredible news" on Twitter yesterday. "Next Valentine's we r coming with a major 3D Movie telling the story with an Oscar winning director and also filmin the tour at MSG in NYC!!" said Bieber.
The news follows yesterday's announcement that Bieber will publish a memoir, "Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story," in October. That month will also see the release of a comic book about the singer, courtesy of Bluewater Productions' Fame comic series.
