While pregnancy rumors have recently been swirling around Mariah Carey, the singer's husband, Nick Cannon, is staying mum on the subject. On "Rollin' with Nick Cannon," the actor/rapper's radio show on New York's 92.3 NOW FM, Cannon told gossip blogger Perez Hilton yesterday (Aug. 23) that the situation is "extremely personal" and that he won't reveal anything until his wife is ready.

"I've said it before and I'll say it time and time again -- when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her," said Cannon.

Is Mariah Carey Pregnant?

Hilton speculated that the couple was expecting their first child because of Carey's "heavier" look during a performance in Brazil on Saturday night (Aug. 21). Carey also fueled the rumors by saying that the Sao Paulo show had been tough for her due to "personal reasons" on her Twitter account early Sunday morning.

While Cannon did not address or explain his wife's changed appearance, he told Hilton, "We all know it's extremely personal, and it is for a woman to deal with things with her body, and especially when dealing with the idea of childbirth and all that stuff."
