Elton John's new album with Leon Russell, aptly titled "The Union," is a meeting of these veteran musical minds for the first time since 1970. The Decca Records album, which was produced by T Bone Burnett, is out tomorrow, and Billboard.com is giving away an original canvas painting of the portrait of the two artists that is used as the cover of the album signed by both John and Russell. Five more fans will win the vinyl edition of the album. Just fill in the form below by Nov. 18 to enter to win.
The 16 songs on "The Union," which were written by Russell, Burnett, John, and his lyricist Bernie Taupin, also feature guest appearances from Neil Young, Brian Wilson, Robert Randolph, and Booker T. Jones.
Additionally, John and Russell are currently on tour together across North America and Europe through January 2011, including a stop at New York's Beacon Theatre tomorrow (Oct. 19), which will be broadcast live on Fuse, and a performance at Neil Young's annual Bridge School Benefit in Mountain View, Calif. on Oct. 24.
