"High School Musical" co-stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have ended their four-year relationship. A source close to the couple says that the relationship simply "ran its course," and that the pair are still close friends. Efron is currently filming new feature film "The Lucky One" in New Orleans. Matt Cardle Wins 'X Factor'
27-year-old singer Matt Cardle was crowned the winner of the seventh season of "The X Factor," the British counterpart of "American Idol." Cardle beat out Rebecca Ferguson and follows 2009 winner Joe McElderry. "Bleeding Love" singer Leona Lewis remains the "X Factor" champion who has found the most stateside success. (Idolator)
Selena Gomez Claims 'Just Pancakes' Defense with Justin Bieber
Although Selena Gomez was recently spotted at an IHOP in Philadelphia with Justin Bieber, the singer claims that the two teen stars are just friends. "It was pancakes. Who doesn't like pancakes?" Gomez said at New York's Z100 Jingle Ball. "I love Justin... I feel like a big sister now, 'cause I want to protect him." ( MTV)
Bob Marley's Last Performance Being Released
"Live Forever: The Stanley Theatre, Pittsburgh, PA, September 23, 1980," a CD featuring reggae icon Bob Marley's last recorded show, will be released on Feb. 1, 2011. Marley performed hits like "No Woman No Cry" and "Jamming" at the concert, which was performed less than a year before he succumbed to cancer. ( Pitchfork)
Duff McKagan Strips for Anti-Fur Ad
Former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan and his wife Susan Holmes McKagan have appeared in the buff in the ad for PETA's "Ink, Not Mink" campaign. The anti-fur ad features the McKagans displaying their tattoed bodies while a line reads, "Be comfortable in your own skin and let animals keep theirs" underneath them. Dave Navarro and Tommy Lee have also appeared in the campaign. ( Spinner)
